Bon... ce topic me faisait un peu tilter... Je suis supposé être balla et je suis assis sur une chaise moyennement confortable.

Là j'arrive du Bureau En Gros. J'ai acheté une chaise en cuir avec du foam "Serta" dedans à 350$ + taxes! Ka chaise la plus cher du magasin obv.





Elle ressemble à plusieurs autres qui sont là, mais le foam "Serta" fait que c'est presque le double du prix... mais c'est super confo!

Beat: ca rentre pas dans mon char, donc la chaise me sera livrée demain.

Il y a aussi les Aeron Chair de HermanMiller qui sont dans le même genre que les freedom chair mais je pense que c'est encore plus connu et réputé (il y en a plus sur ebay et sont plus cher). Il y en a sur ebay à 600$

overpriced inferior product, un peu comme si Ralph Lauren faisait des chaises.

c'est un produit de design, pas d'ergonomie, les freedom sont way ahead !

Ah ouai j'étais déjà tombé sur cette page! Mais bon faut pas croire tout ce qu'on dit sur internet! C'est sur qu'il y a surment une part de vérité.. mais bon, ya pas de chaise parfaite non plus apparament pcq la Freedom ça l'air a casse facile :

My company has purchased over 600 Freedom chairs both with and without headrests. Some of these chairs were among the first Humanscale ever produced. The overall durability of these chairs is pathetic. The current product is much better, but on the older chairs we've had to do major repairs several times. Those repairs included, replace every plastic arm cup (breaking off at the pins), replace almost every cracked/split arm pad several times (they finally made a tougher pad), replaced all of the wave fabric (due to fabric separation from foam/gel, fuzzing, and pilling)(the replacement Vellum is not much better), replaced over a hundred seat pans that broke, replaced wheels that get impacted with hair and won't roll (never seen on any other chair), replaced almost all "toothed ratchets" that hold up the arms in the back (originally cast metal and not machined), many times seat adjustment won't move after seat pan is replaced. I requested a repair manual, took these chairs apart and worked on them myself until I became sick of doing their warranty work for them. Now, I have over 20 in the dealer/repair shop constantly. By the time they get 10 fixed, I have 10 more broken. And yes, the gel seats appear to be "harder" than the plain foam. Many employees complain that both are too hard. We don't plan to buy any more Freedom chairs. I give them a 1 because 0 is not a choice.

Awful, low quality chair

I've NEVER seen a chair break as often as a freedom. We have 12 of them in our office and they have all broken at least 2-3 times each!! The construction quality is so poor and plasticky that simple things like arm rests, handles and adjustment knobs snap off once a month. Head rests are constantly slipping down, arm rests rattle and flop around, seats shake around... nothing is tight and it all comes apart in time. The maintenace guy from the shop told us he's NEVER seen such a high failure rate on any chair.

I would strongly suggest a leap chair instead. We've got a couple in to try out and in one year they've had zero problems and are far more comfortable.

It has a Major design Flaw

This chair is awful.
I have the slippery black fabric (which is part of the problem) and when you lean back the chair seat does not tilt up at all so you slide off it. You inevitably find youself with your backside virtually hanging off the chair. I have developed painful sciatica type pains in my legs after a year with this chair and I am looking into something much cheaper with correct ergonomics that doesn't cause you to slide off.

ah non c'est vrai ("mais je pense que c'est encore plus connu et réputé") tu t'es juste fié au prix sur eBay ? ("Mais bon faut pas croire tout ce qu'on dit sur internet!")...
